Awesome Little Computer
This little computer is awesome. I am a 6'4" guy with some big hands, I have no problems typing on it. I just watched 5 movies back to back on a trip to and from Mexico. Never charged it and still had 20% battery left. I use this thing all the time, can't imagine how I traveled with my old 6 lb laptop. Hard drive is huge, screen resolution is small, but very clear. I get 10+ hours of battery life out of this with the wifi on and the screen at 50% brightness. I use [...], not microsoft office (open office looks like MS Office 2000, full compatibility). It's a great computer if you don't use programs that need a lot of memory, (i.e. photoshop, autocad, etc.) If you buy it you won't be disappointed.

The only con that I have is that the charger I got has a poor connection, but am going to try to get that resolved through the company. I can still get the computer to charge, but it takes some playing with the charger box.

Great netbook
Excellent netbook. It has a small Linux installed where you can boot and start using in less than one minute, great add-on. It has many partitions defined in the hard-disk, the recovery one, the small Linux, and two for Windows, drives C and D. You can deactivate the D disk on Windows and use that partition for installing Linux and get three possibilities for use this computer: Linux, small and fast boot Linux and Windows.

Great little computer
I got this netbook for travel and operating a telescope out in the field. The long battery life was a major factor for me and the battery life is very good even though I have not seen 14 hours yet. It runs most software that I need. One of the Canon EOS camera programs would not load due to the 600 line resolution, but I was able to load it after connecting the netbook to an external monitor. The parts of the program I need then worked without the external monitor. The keyboard is great for a small size and the screen is just fine for checking email, facebook and web sites.

Exactly fits me
Bought 8/5/10 along with additional memory.
I wanted a netbook that was very portable, easy to access web but with the capacity to load MS Office on it. The Asus is awesome. I've had no problems. I deleted the trial version of Office and bought Office 2010 Student and Home Version as I do not use Outlook. This computer easily fits in backup, totes, purses, etc. so I rarely leave it home. It's been to lots of coffee shops, dog parks and swimming holes with me this summer. My home internet is the budget Comcast cable hookup which can be pretty funky at times but so far no problems, even when all three household computers are on-line. Never had a problem anywhere else either. Memory is a bit shorter than advertised but still excellent. Rubberized cover durable and easy to wipe clean.
Cons: Keyboard area shiny and very prone to fingerprints. Touchpad very sensitive and takes some getting used to.

Great Netbook
I have this netbook on for 8+ hours a day while I am on my college campus and the battery life has never fallen below 65%. Granted the computer was asleep for a large portion of that time, but it still serves its function well and I never have to worry about the battery depleting while I am out an about. Some people have complained that this netbook is slow, but come on, it was not made for playing games or watching high def movies. This netbook works just fine for taking notes, reading documents, and surfing the web.
