Great TV- Beyond Expectations
Bought this TV at Costco. Last one they had, so received great price.

The picture is better than I imagined it could be. The color for sporting events is so vivid and accurate it looks just like you are there. The color just smacks you in the face. So real and accurate.

We love the Netflicks app. Took all of 15 seconds to connect to our wifi. Connecting to Netflix just as easy. For .95 mo the Netflix is a no brainer as you can stream unlimited and get DVD's one at time.

Setup was easy for the TV. 3 HDMI connections.

Before I bought this I priced a similiar Samsung. Great TV also, but way more money. Do yourself a favor and save a
lot of money without sacrificing quality.

You will not regret buying this TV.

Exceeds all expectations
I was a lttle apprehensive about buying this TV since I'm not terribly familiar with the Vizio brand. I looked at this model everywhere and it is amazingly thin, has a ton of options for input, and is rated for energy efficiency.
I'm not a TV fanatic so I'm not even going to try to go into the specs, but all I can tell you is that when this thing came out of the box, it asked me if I was a home user (as opposed ot a business, I assume to set the appropriate brightness) and hit the ground running. I am amazed with the picture quality, and I don't even have cable!!! I use this with an antenna, and often a blue ray play to stream netflix. I am so blown away by this TV every day, I cannot even think of a single complaint to list here.
My husband and I had a great debate about size (he wanted a 42", I wanted a 55") This was our compromise, and honestly I haven't had a single regret!

Excellent Value
I did not purchase this item from Amazon but found it at a local store for less than 0. This is the first TV I have purchased in 20 years and I did not know what to get but knew I wanted a flat screen. I had read LED was the way to go and wrote down several brands names last week and researched their reviews on Amazon.

Vizio kept scoring high consistently so I decided to buy this one. Surprisingly, it was one of the cheapest units being sold. Setup was very easy and within 20 minutes I had set it up and was watching TV.


Images are very good, yeah some TV's are sharper but for my viewing this is just fine. Viewing with the lights on or off doesn't bother the image, it is sharp and very crisp.

Don't hesitate to purchase one!

Do NOT buy this product
After reading tech specs and reviews I finally bought this product. Brought it home and hooked it up. Used it for the entire week with no issues. I then went on a business trip and when I came back the tv would not operate, it was stuck on the blue screen of death (no signal). I thought it was my cable box as this often happens but after troubleshooting I found that it would not accept a signal from any device / cabling (HDMI or component cables) (Cablebox, blueray, dvd, xbox) all did not work. I called Vizio support to find out they work on PST and weren't available. I checked the internet and followed all the tips and tricks on the support site and general information sites. Waited until 9am the next day to finally have a rude service rep walk me through all the steps I had already done and finally admit the tv was broken and needed repair. He would schedule for a week out, I explained my issues and travel problems ( no one sitting around waiting for repairs and my inability to see my schedule closer than current week), I was willing to pay for better service. He did not care so I requested a supervisor who repeated the same crappy product information and service attitude and tried to justify it by saying that everyone does it that way. I will now return this tv versus dealing with stupidity. Again buy at your own risk as the sets are known defective and the service is non-existent.

Clear And Bright
The TV was delivered on the appoiinted day, and in the time window that I had been expecting. The two men unpacked and set up the TV, turned it, on and checked that it was working correctly with my DirecTV dish. I was immediately enjoying a bigger clearer picture compared to my previous set.

During the next coouple of weeks, I read the manual that came with the set a little bit at a time, and learned how to use many of the built in features. I especially like to adjust sports programs using the "wide" and "Mode" buttons so that the picture suits me best.

I also like the fact that after having the set up and running in my house for over two weeks, I still haven't paid anything to Amazon. I will be taking advantage of the "no interest if paid in six months" program.
